Every great M car starts with a solid chassis. While the M2 is an amazing car right out of the box, Turner Motorsport found some opportunities for improvement, starting with the unattractive?factory corner braces. In?order to cut costs on the M2, BMW fitted the M2 with stamped steel?corner braces, rather than the Carbon "Boomerang" that the F8X?M3/M4 came fitted with. The M2's decidedly underwhelming?engine bay leaves something to be desired. Enter the new Turner Corner Braces; designed to be a functional upgrade to your chassis' rigidity, while also providing an aesthetic?upgrade to dress up your engine bay.
CAD designed in house at Turner for perfect integration with the stock mounting locations and features in the engine bay. The best part? They install in just minutes! Just 4 bolts on each side to increase your chassis rigidity, and dress up your engine bay!?Developed with an oval?crosssectional area, the Turner Carbon Fiber Corner Braces are manufactured using structural carbon fiber with a 2x2 twill weave outer layer for increased rigidity over the factory stamped steel.?The braces are protected by a gloss finish clear coat for UV protection.?The aluminum inserts are machined from 6061T6, type II black anodized and bonded into the carbon strut brace to ensure secure and strong mounting of the strut brace to the chassis.?
