This kits repairs the factory stud with stainless hardware. This eliminates the stud and requires drilling out the old stud.
This will then require the button head Allen to be held in place with a tool while you tighten the other side (nut) to the mount.
Please clean old rust off body and treat with primer/paint or grease to prevent rust.
