Trying to source all the hardware to the job the right way can be frustrating. At ECS Tuning have numerous kits to make the job go easier. In this front sway bar installation kit we have included every bolt and nut required by VW to properly remove and reinstall your front subframe and sway bar. Included in the kit are:
All subframe to body bolts (Torque to 70 Nm + 90° turn)
Stabilizer bar to coupling rod nuts (Torque to 65 Nm)
Tie rod end to wheel bearing housing nuts (Torque to 20 Nm + 90° turn)
Ball joint to control arm nuts (Torque to 60 Nm for Steel Control arms -or- Torque to 100 Nm for Aluminum Control Arms)
Universal joint to steering gear (Torque to 30 Nm)
Pendulum support to transmission bolts (Torque to 50 Nm + 90° turn for both bolts with class 10.9 hardware)
