The ECS direct-fit magnetic drain plug attracts and holds small ferrous metal particles that escape your oil filter, and holds on to them to prevent engine damage.
Just wipe away the particles from the magnetic drain plug tip at each oil change to remove abrasive particles that would otherwise scar close-tolerance engine parts and polished surfaces
The major benefit of this kit is the Billet Aluminum Oil Filter Housing. The original plastic housing can become brittle over time and break over time. If your housing leaks you may not have the required amount of engine oil for optimal operation, leading to premature engine failure. This housing also eliminates the need for a special tool to drain the oil from the housing by using an 8mm allen bolt instead.
