In order to flash your vehicle, you will need an IE POWERlink Direct-port Flash Tool (sold separately) and a Windows 7+ powered laptop. Already own an IE POWERlink cable? Contact us to purchase upgrade credits, there is no fee to upgrade tunes and you only pay the difference in tune cost.

IE's motorsport-inspired software brings track-ready ECU programming to your Audi 3.0T supercharged engine while retaining factory comfort and reliability. Developed in-house, IE engineers are equipped with industry-leading tuning technology to completely reverse engineer the factory mapping and safely modify it to maximize performance. Years of professional tuning high-powered race vehicles and intimate knowledge of the VW & Audi engines results in a wicked fast car on the street or the track. Your new software tune is easily uploaded to your factory installed ECU (engine control module) without touching a wrench in your own driveway. Multiple tunes are available to match your stock or installed aftermarket hardware.
All available tune stages include various octanes?at no extra cost. Using the IE POWERlink cable you can switch between octanes as needed. You can load high octane files for race day and run regular pump octane on your daily commute and save at the pump.

E40 BLEND FUEL
The IE Stage 2 Dual Pulley and Throttle Body Tunes offer you tons of power potential on multiple octanes options including support for E40. The direct injection factory fuel system cannot safely support the amount of fuel needed for full E85 fuel, even with an HPFP upgrade, however, it can support a maximum blend of ethanol to E40. E40 is an ethanol mix of E85 with regular pump 91/93 fuel (about 2/5ths E85 and 3/5ths 91/93 with E10 premium gas). To run this fuel safely, it must be pre-mixed and verified before filling into an empty tank. CATALYTIC CONVERTERS
IE's pump fuel 91/93 tunes are?specially?calibrated with safe air to fuel mixtures that inhibit "knocking". These mixtures also provide cooler exhaust gas temperature and thus are safer for the 3.0T's fragile catalytic converters than many competition tunes. Higher octanes are intended for higher power output and do not guarantee factory catalytic converter safety.?
TRUE LAUNCH CONTROL
IE's True Launch Control feature adds?the motorsport function of two-step launch control built into the ECU software. This offers neck-breaking launches with engine load and boost built from a stop. This provides a large advantage over similarly powered vehicles. Optional feature on B8.5 Dual Pulley and above tunes.
EXHAUST CRACKLE
Give your supercharged engine an aggressive?sporty sound. This new feature makes your S car sound like a true performance machine when you rev, decelerate, or let off the throttle for gear changes. This exhaust crackle is completely safe and entirely addicting.?Optional feature for Stage 2 and above tunes.
The Audi 3.0T engine continues to make power beyond the factory rev limiter, especially when power adders such as upgraded pullies are added. Our files allow the engine to access all of that power by increasing the rev limiter.?Requires matching IE DSG /transmission calibration on S-Tronic Cars.

The cable simply plugs into your vehicle?s OBD-2 port delivering instant access to choose different IE Tune stages to match installed hardware, take advantage of different fuel octanes, flash back to stock, perform engine diagnostics, read/clear codes and gather high-quality operating data via logging.
*Tuning available for engines with press-fit supercharger pulleys only. Some late model 2016+ engines may be equipped with a 4 bolt supercharger pulley, this is not currently supported and is coming soon.?
