Product Overview

If you are looking for an OE replacement turbo for your 1.8T transverse car, look no further than this unit from BorgWarner. This is a direct, bolt on replacement for vehicles that originally came with K03 Turbochargers

With stock size and flow, this turbo is not recommended for modified cars. A completely new, not rebuilt unit that will spool dependably and restore lost performance.

Be sure to order new banjo lines and crush washers to make your installation easier. It is suggested that lines are replaced to ensure proper oiling, as the old lines can loose pressure due to sludge.

When servicing the turbo system, it is recommended that fresh oil be installed to ensure proper break-in and long life of the turbo.

*ECS Tuning Official Policy regarding Borg Warner KKK Turbocharger Warranty Claims*

  • An additional receipt from a professional repair facility must accompany the warranty claim indicating:

  2. Reasons for turbocharger failure

  3. Proposed repairs intended to correct the cause of the failure (if any).

Borg Warner will, at its discretion and with proper documentation, replace a turbocharger that has failed due to defects in materials and/or original workmanship.

All associated labor charges for diagnosis and repair are the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
