The corrugated airbox and turbo inlet hoses?found in the OEM air intake system were?not designed for performance or modifications. They were?designed to get the job done, and when adding a performance filter, intake, or tune the stock inlet?hoses can start to show their weaknesses when suction from the turbocharger is increased.
The ECS Silicone Intake Hose Set for the VW MK6 Jetta 1.4T was?designed in-house with a high-quality 4-ply reinforced construction?to provide?a strong but flexible structure and secure fit. Smooth bends and internal walls with counter bored outlets provide unimpeded airflow, while the smooth, gloss black exterior adds an appearance upgrade to any engine bay.?
