Our performance air intake kit replaces the original air filter and and top section of the orginal air filter box with a carbon fiber top and cone filter plug larger diameter inlet tube in order to make the air flow go as straight and as simply as possible into the engine.
The air intake uses an easy-to-maintain cone filter which requires an approximate annual cleaning and “recharging” with an air filter cleaning kit.
The design permits increased airflow, minimum restriction and maximum filtration, resulting in an increase of both the horsepower and torque for improved engine response. We have see a 6-8hp increase from dyno testing. This is the most economical way to give your car more power and a sporty sound! The filter is delivered pre-oiled and ready to install and is reusable after cleaning. Recommended service/cleaning every 65.000 km (40.000 miles). Service more often in off road or heavy dust conditions. All mounting details and instructions are included in the kit.
Estimated installation time is approximately 60 minutes and can be performed with general hand tools.
