The fan on the crankshaft of your engine takes away engine power to get it spinning - robbing you of horsepower. By lowering the thermostat temperature, improving thermal conductivity of coolant, and lowering the temperature at which the electric auxiliary fan engages, the need for the mechanical crank fan can be eliminated. This results in a reduction in drag on engine as well as a reduction in weight in the nose of the vehicle. The included water wetter helps lower the coolant temperature while ECS aluminum water pump pulley offers a 8% over drive improving coolant flow.
