These belts have many benefits, they are 300% stronger than your standard belts, and are constructed of HNBR elastomeric composites that have up to three times the heat resistance and tooth strength. Featuring an eye catching blue color, Gates Racing timing belts are designed to be exceptionally durable, with reinforced high tensile strength tooth jackets allowing them to hold up to the most demanding conditions as well as the most highly modified engines.
Though not necessary according to Audi, ECS Tuning has included a water pump and thermostat in this kit to make sure you will not have to open your timing belt cover later on for replacement, as well as the accessory drive belt. All these items included in the kit are reaching the end of their usable life, best to do it now than later down the road.
