This tool is needed for securing both engine bank camshafts at TDC when replacing the timing belt.
This kit also includes the necessary crankshaft locking pin.
Cam securing bar fits Audi 12v & 30v V6 cars from 96-05 and Passats from 98-05.
*Will not work with 3.0 liter Audi V6
