Is your window not moving and the motor seems to be fine or it you hear a snap and the motor moves, this regulator might be your problem. This full unit replaces all the moving parts that slide your glass window up and down.
Sometimes the gears get striped or the cables themselves can rust and break on the older units and need replaced..
This unit is separate from the window motor.
