The Schwaben 15-piece thread restorer kit contains the most popular metric sizes for restoring corroded, damaged or strippped threads on both internal and external threads. These thread chasers have a hex head and are designed to be used with standard metric sockets and wrenches. Thread restores  are not designed to create new threads, but work to clean up damaged threads. Also included in this kit is a special thread file that can be used to restore threads on right or left hand bolts and studs. File has a removable  vinyl handle. Use with a light oil for best results.
