On the second generation MINI developed a grille for the scoop on your hood / bonnet. This was a great design piece that protects the top of the engine from rocks and other debris. But sometimes they can be damaged from such debris, therefore saving your engine covers.
This unit mounts to the rear underside of the scoop and comes in black mesh plastic. Don't forget to install the thermal insulation for added protection if not previously installed. ES2080964. And for added protection ES125631.
