This tool is required to rebuild your vanos unit using the upgraded ECS seals, When you rebuild your unit with our kit you get a better than OE product with the same seal and expected performance. This time it will last much longer, as it should. Our tool was designed to crimp down on the housing to create the perfect seal again without crushing the contact pins, where some competition doesn't see the slight bending to be an issue, we decided if that doesn't happen on the original build then it won't happen with our tool.
