The S54's factory Vanos line is an extremely high failure part. The factory Vanos line incorporates a hard line, which is the most common failure point for the S54 Vanos line. We saw this line fail on so many S54 powered vehicles, we knew we had to design a solution.
Our S54 Exact-Fit Stainless Steel Vanos Line is far more reliable than OEM, much easier to install, and significantly less expensive than OEM (11367837614) or other alternatives on the market. Even if your factory Vanos line hasn't failed, we recommend replacing it with our Exact-Fit Vanos line as cheap insurance.
