Product Overview

StopTech Drilled & Slotted rotors prevent glazing of the pads, add bite and improve wet and dry braking performance. It’s a fact that venting the gas produced by hot brake pads improves overall brake performance and helps minimize fade

StopTech Drilled & Slotted Rotors help prevent glazing of the pads to improve dry/wet braking performance. StopTech Drilled & Slotted Rotors feature a durable black e-coating on the non-swept areas of the rotor to prevent corrosion. The black e-coating is on both sides of the hat, inside the the cooling vanes, and on the outside edge. E-coating is a superior electro-statically applied finish designed to withstand 400 hours of salt water exposure without rusting.

The drilled holes and slots are on the rotors are angled to use the rotors’ direction of rotation to enhance performance. This makes them side specific with left side (driver’s) and right side (passenger’s) rotors.

StopTech Drilled & Slotted rotors are designed to beat the challenges of high performance driving and represent one of the most cost-efficient performance brake upgrades offered in the market today.

These drilled and slotted rotors offer an enhanced appearance and add some resistance to the boundary layer of gasses that can build up between the pad and rotor, they are not designed to withstand the extreme temperatures that are produced on the racetrack. If they are used on the track, it is very important that the rotors be carefully inspected and should not be driven on if even minor signs of deterioration are seen. Note, too, that if any products are used on the track they are not warrantable.
